Maji's blog
Maji Swahili for "water"

Maji, native to New Zealand, found himself in London England at the age of six while traveling with his family of Carnies during their Unbelievable Beards Tour. A novice jackalope tamer, he often yearned for more out of life, and pleaded with his parents (each a Siamese twin) to allow him to remain in Brittain to discover himself there. They finally relented and left Maji behind at his new job as a decorative fountain repair gnome
Maji greatly enjoyed his days growing up in London, and in recent years took a position at the locally ronown tomatory, Tomato Town, where he has used his water fountain expertise to implement a revolutionary cherry tomato irrigation system.
Likes: sand castles, Chinese Acrobats, the Beatles, the short stories of Oscar Wilde, silk pajamas, anything curry
Dislikes: normal people, soft apples, talk radio, undercooked pasta, overrated art, David Hasslehoff, seasonal allergies
Busy Days
Hello friends! I have had such a busy day! Let me tell you about it.
4:43am- I woke up for my morning exercise. I know you are probably shocked at the thought of waking up this early, but I have to do it so the regular human joggers don't freak out when they see me exercising. Hey, humans aren't the only ones who need exercise! How do you think I keep this hard porcelein figure of mine?
6:30am- Everybody knows that in the early morning air you are most aware for a bit of meditation. I sat on the lawn and pondered about life, love, and other mysteries. Lately, I have been thinking about how lucky I am to have my very own garden. Some gnomes have next to nothing!
11:07am- I planted 3 packets of mini zinnia seeds in my front yard a few weeks ago. They are starting to come up and I am very excited about them, so I spent a few hours tending to them.
2:38pm- I had a meeting with the Afrignome chief to discuss our next steps in helping the people of Kenya get clean water. There are many new ways we are going to be able to help them!
4:49pm- I prepared a nice veggie stew for myself and a few friends from down the block. We had great conversation, but it took forever to kick the moochers out of my house! I'm tired and just want to go to bed. Gotta prepare for another busy day!
What did you do today?

A New Season
Jambo friends! I just had my 89th birthday a few weeks ago! I guess that's why I have forgotten to update you with any blog posts recently. Oops! I hope you've missed me as much as I've missed you! I've been so super busy lately, let me tell you about it!
Although I didn't get to go with her this time around, Sarah Evans recently made another trip out to Kenya. I of course helped with all the planning, and THAT is why she had such a great trip! Sarah went to check on some of Well Aware's well sites and make sure that they were running very smoothly. She also went to scout out a few new locations to drill more wells! Very exciting!
Sarah told me before she left that it was on her heart to help out children she had come across on her last visit. I really really hope it works out! They are in such dire need! She's such a swell lass and can help so many people along with the great support she has.
Oh well I have to go tend to my garden now! Springtime means lots of work on my flowers and veggies.
Tood'loo!
Maji takes it easy in Brooklyn

After his late nights in Manhattan, Maji got to chill with artist, Cliff Evans, in Brooklyn for a few days. He cooked a bit, watched Cliff work, and kinda developed a crush on Nicole.
Maji is getting spoiled

Well, if Maji wasn't indulged enough in the luxury homes he visited in Austin with Julie Evans, he certainly achieved that in New York City last weekend. Shelly Fergusson treated him to an Off Broadway show, wine in Rockefeller Center, and a tour of Times Square.
We don't want Maji losing site of his mission, so this week, he's chillin in Brooklyn.
Maji is getting a taste of the good life...

Maji overlook Lady Bird Lake in Austin at the brand new luxury downtown highrise, the Austonian. He thinks he can get used to this.
Thank you, Julie Evans, for showing Maji the ropes in interior design & introducing him to your fabulous clients!!
Maji has fabulous taste!

Austin Interior Designer, Julie Evans, took Maji to approve of the new decor at Flint Rock... purple patent faux snake skin leather ottoman with rhinestone nail head trim. Yes, you read that correctly.
Maji is tempted to change carreer now...
