Moja's blog

Moja Swahili for the number "One"

The chief of the AfriGnomes, was born outside of Siberia (the AfriGnomes care not for the distinction bewteen tundra and grass).  Moja was born to lead.  It is said that within minutes of his gnome birth, he had already found a sceptor and was ordering the doctors and nurses how to care for him.

After only two years in the harsh Russian elements, Moja set his sites on England, sure that he would find his destiny there.  After years of searching and self-exploration, Moja finally found his calling and the team that would help him.  On a rainy day in Autumn,  not too far from Trafalgar, Moja found himself in a tomatory, called Tomato Town, where he met his "brothers in cause", Jambo, Kwaheri, Pilipili, Maji and Asante, all of whom instantly knew that they had found their leader.

Moja would later explain that his purpose was to bring clean water to those who have none, and that he wanted to start with one of the dryest places on Earth, Kenya.  The other AfriGnomes jumped eagerly aboard this cause and formed an unstoppable team.
